Malaga Fair 2019

The August Fair in the city of Malaga is celebrated from August 15 to 24, 2019. It is the biggest summer party on the Costa del Sol . These are dates to enjoy a wide range of activities: concerts, exhibitions, bullfights, children's games, folklore and flamenco.

Day Fair

The City Center or " day fair ", where you can taste wines and tapas accompanied by good music. The streets are decorated with lanterns and floral decorations. Playgrounds are installed where shows for children and adults are held. The dances and parades with orchestras flood every corner. The " Pandas de Verdiales" stand out" They show their unique folklore.

Night fair

The Trade Fair or " night fair ", located in the Real del Cortijo de Torres , with market stalls and live performances and attractions. The party lasts until late at night. It is the ideal place to try the typical dishes of the area, such as " buñuelos de viento ", a traditional sweet.

The celebrations begin the night of August 14 to 15 with the proclamation and a great Fireworks show, next to the beach of La Malagueta. Followed by the bullfighting fair in the Plaza de Toros de la Malagueta.

On Saturday August 17, 2019 there is the pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Victory, the patron saint of Malaga. It is a beautiful procession in which horsemen, carriages and neighbours accompany the flag-bearer of the fair to the sanctuary.
