Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva Summer Hours

in Estepona Municipality in Málaga Province, Andalucia, Spain
By Nick Nutter | 24 Jul 2019

Summer is here and tourists throng the beaches and bars. Lovely to see them all enjoying themselves. Age Concern is run by volunteers and they need a well earned break as well.

To allow for this, the shop will be closed for the whole of August, from Wednesday 31st July until Monday 2nd September. Our Adviceline and telephone messages will be monitored during the closure.

When we reopen we will have some autumnal lines ready for sale, so we look forward to seeing customers and clients then. In the meantime enjoy the summer!

Age Concern Shop & Community Volunteers had a Summer Lunch at La Rada Estepona last Wednesday the 17th July to mark the end of the season. Good food and good company equalled a good time!

I met Barry and his wife Iris in Turkey many years ago. I later heard an interview he gave on radio 4 back in 2005/6. Lovely caring man. I am possibly retiring to southern Spain and would like to follow in Barry’s and Eileen’s (Dry) footsteps and volunteer with Age Concern. I will look you up when I arrive in Spain.
