Places to go in Andalucia

Visit a disused goldmine and the cowboy town of Tabernas in Almeria. Explore the 5000 year old dolmens of Antequerra (declared a World Heritage Site in 2016) or submerge yourself in the hot springs of the Roman Baths in Casares, both in Malaga province. Travel from Algeciras to Ronda on a train line built by the British or see the excavated Roman town of Baelo Claudia in Cadiz province. In Cordoba province you can see the recently discovered Madinat al-Zahra, a magnificent residence built for the Caliphs of Andalucia and Granada of course has the Alhambra and the Nazrid Palace.
