Cadiz Festival of Jazz

From 18 to 28 July 2024, Cádiz celebrates its 17th Jazz Festival.

Most of the action takes place at the Baluarte de Candelaria, a fortress that protected the entrance to the port and the northwest section of Cádiz city. You will also find concerts at Plaza de la Catedral, the Playa de la Caleta, or the emblematic rooftops of the Hotel Las Cortés and the Hotel Parador Atlántico.

There will be numerous concerts during the festival as well as jam sessions and free activities that are open to all.

Highlights of the Cadiz Jazz Festival 2024

Here are the concerts you can enjoy at the 17th edition of the Cadiz Jazz Festival.

  • 18 July 2024: Carlos Villoslada "Caba" Double (Centro Cultural Fundación Unicaja de Cádiz)
  • 23 July 2024: Alto for Two (Parador de Tourismo de Cadiz)
  • 24 July 2024: Swing O’Day + Jove Big Band de Sedajazz / Concierto doble ¡Noche de Swing! (Baluarte de la Candelaria)
  • 25 July 2024: Chipi & Chano ‘Canciones Canajazz’ (Baluarte de la Candelaria)
  • 26 July 2024:SUMRRÁ & Niño de Elche(Baluarte de la Candelaria)
  • 27 July 2024: Cyrille Aimée ‘A Fleur de Peau’(Baluarte de la Candelaria)
  • 28 July 2024: FOCUS: Pedro Cortejosa + Ensemble de cuerda La Bramantina(Baluarte de la Candelaria)

Free Workshops at the Cadiz Jazz Festival 2024

Other than the concerts, there are also a variety of free workshops and activities available. Interested participants can sign up on the official website.

  • 19 July (7:00 p.m): Conference on "How Jazz is a Song" with Javier Estrella and Irene Estrella
  • 23 July (12:00 p.m): Master-Class Alto for Two
  • 27 July (12:00 p.m): Swing Dance and Lindy Hop Workshop
